White balance test

Every application has its own RAW engine and color engine therefore colors and contrast are different. The test shot has grey card and some highly saturated parts to compare the colors quality. Bear in mind that it was taken under mixed light condition. The main problem therefore is white balance.

What we are looking at?

The default view is in-camera jpeg. It was taken with AUTO WB turned "on" therefore it shows what can we expect from a decent DSLR (Konica Minolta Dynax 7D). Notice that camera chenged contrast and brightness of the image due to in camera post processing.

Every application was tested with white balance manually set at the middle of the lower, left-hand rectangle of the grey card. Differences in colors are therefore the result of applications color rendering AND white balance algorithm. To make the comparison fair all additional tools were turned off and linear contrast was used. Where available the auto white balance option was tested too.
